We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer for our client from Cluj!
- Deep competence with Microsoft Skype for Business infrastructure installation and configuration is a must.
- Deep competence in troubleshooting Microsoft Skype for Business call quality, IM, and video issues is a must.
- Deep competence with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PRI to SIP media gateways is a must.
- Deep competence with analyzing SIP packet captures in a must.
- Deep competence within the area of LAN, WAN, WiFi and TCP/IP based communication platforms
- Deep competence within the area of IT security including firewalls, reverse proxies, load balancing systems and certificate infrastructure
- Deep competence within the area of Microsoft Exchange
- Deep competence within the area of Microsoft client/server computing and networking in an international multi-site corporate IT environment
- Deep competence within the area of virtualization technologies, storage and underlying hardware platforms
- Deep competence within the area of corporate wide video conferencing
- Deep competence within the area of DNS management, internal as well as external
- Ability to speak English fluently as well as to, within the competence area of this position, write general and technical documents
- Ability to work alone as well as to co-operate with others both inside and outside the team and the company
- In the context of decided IT related policies and plans, independently responsible for the development and operation (hardware and software) of the communication platforms (LAN, WAN, Load balancers, TCP/IP), IT security systems and centralized storage and server platforms;
- Responsible for email (Exchange and Internet email)
- Responsible for Video Conference Systems technologies and operation;
- Responsible for server hall environment and tidiness in Gothenburg
- Responsible for DNS, internal as well as external
- Participates as technical specialist in the planning and operation of the global company WAN including security systems
- Contributes to the creation and maintenance of company IT related policies
- In cooperation with Manager ICTor DIO prepare for decisions regarding procurements within the area of his/her responsibility
- Participates in the purchasing process regarding IT related products and services
- Co-operates with internal and external organizations and vendors
- Participates in the overall process within the ICT helpdesk on a daily basis as well as within the on-call organization(24x7x365services) according to company AB’s on-call agreements
- Responsibility to maintain and develop his/her own competence
- Responsibility to follow and develop work methods, design and system development standards and best practices within the area of his/her responsibility
- Occasionally responsible for projects within ICT
