Python Expert (ETL)

We are looking for a Python developer who will be responsible for:

– Setting up a Python environment on Linux

– Developing new ETL Python processes

– Transforming the existing highly performant Ab-Initio processes into Python processes

In the team, this developer will have to:

Take the lead on all the Python related developments and has to coach other team members to become Python developers.

 

Technical skills required for this mission are:

Development

– Python, senior experience around ETL processing

– Airflow

– XML, JSON processing

– Message Queueing: IBM Websphere MQ Series

-Devops CI/CD pipeline

– shell scripting

-Technical design

 

Database

– MongoDB (non-relational databases)

– Oracle, Oracle P/L SQL Developer

– Competent construction of SQL queries: Cost optimization/performance tuning

– Any data modelling tools or techniques would be of advantage

Business Consultant – Spanish

In this role, you will work closely with our clients in many industries such as Financial Services, High Tech, Banking, Manufacturing, Retail and Insurance to identify, design and configure Sales Performance Management (SPM) solutions to meet their business and technical needs.

Mandatory skills:

System Architect

 

 

Responsibilities:
* Create detailed system designs to meet functional requirements and non-functional requirements of supportability, extensibility, performance, security, and availability. Select the best mix of COTS and custom components to meet business objectives;
*Participate in project definition, project planning and project execution phases to ensure that the system architecture is supportable and will meet contractual service levels;
*Support the System Estimation and Proposal Writing processes by developing high level design for network, system architecture and associated equipment lists;
* Collect and promote best practices for hardware, software, and network architecture. Assist the development, and support teams in adopting practices and technologies relevant to their projects. Assist team leads in auditing compliance to selected  practices;
* Assist in the selection of hardware and networking components for new systems and system upgrades;
* Review change requests to ensure proposed changes are consistent with the architecture of the system;
* Assist the support team in root-cause analysis of support incidents. Ensure results are taken into consideration during the design process for future projects;
* Assist development and support teams in deploying systems as required;
* Lead efforts to diagnose performance and availability issues;
* May participate in the installation, configuration and troubleshooting PKI technologies;
* May require training customer personnel on hardware and network solutions.
Qualifications:

* Excellent oral and written English communication skills, willingness to write design documents of thorough content and of high quality;
* At least 8 years as a professional software developer, systems architect or support engineer;
* Understanding of Java, .NET, web services, service-oriented architecture, public-key infrastructure, Linux, Windows,  TCP/IP, Ethernet, storage area networks, relational databases, virtualization e.g. VMware and associated management tools, and IT security;
* Post-secondary school education in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent degree;
Demonstrated ability to negotiate technical solutions with clients.
Assets:
* Experience with troubleshooting and analysis tools including packet captures, proxies, and system call tracers;
* French communication skills;
* Professional experience with electronic travel document standards;
* Familiarity with identification card, biometric data capture, and border control systems.

 

 

Linux System Administrator

We are looking for a System Administrator for one of our clients, which is an important player in the Information Technology & Services Industry.

You will be responsible with the development and support for the server side of the system’s architecture in the ID systems domain area.

As a System Administrator in the software development team, you have the opportunity to learn a new business domain, to grow professionally due to the exposure to many technologies and complex system architecture.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop configuration scripts using Puppet, modules and templates to automate the deployment of infrastructure, servers, databases and applications
  • Participation in System Architecture planning and design
  • Performance tuning and stress testing the systems
  • Support developers and testers
  • Develop backup and recovery strategies
  • Installation and configuration of system servers (hardware and software)

Qualifications

  • Expertise using configuration management tools such as Puppet – Ability to build configuration scripts
